On the show this week Dan and Greg start off by running down a few of the pilots that will be shooting soon for the upcoming TV season and talking about casting and stories (helloooo Beauty & the Beast) and the general lack of Superhero shows (excluding the Green Arrow show, which is a real thing). There’s also a bit of talk about the American Sherlock Holmes update which, I’m sure, won’t be at all like the British Sherlock Holmes update.
Next we move on to a story that kind of blowed out over the past few weeks involving Gary Friedrich and his lawsuit involving Marvel Comics and specifically the court ruling that caused a bit of panic among the comic convention crowds and artists alike.
Lastly we talk about the premiere the previous Sunday of the “reality” series “Comic Book Men” on AMC. Dan didn’t like it (and he has his reasons) and Greg did like it (and he has his reasons).
