In this late issue of Eat Sleep Comics (sorry) Carlton and Dan start the show as they have since 1957, with what they bought and why which includes, among other things, Super Dinosaur, The Walking Dead, Road to Spider Island and The Rocketeer.
Next up is the sad news that Gene Colan has passed away. Besides talking about his achievements, like creating Falcon and Blade, they also touch upon the fact that many comics pioneers are growing older and we as fans should be taking advantage of their knowledge and insight before they are no longer with us.
Last up is the news that Green Lantern is sinking like a stone at the box-office and if there’s is anything wrong with the Superhero genre or if this is just like any other genre in which sometimes there are good movie and sometimes… not so much.
